Peran Disiplin Kerja Sebagai Variabel Moderating pada Pengaruh Pelatihan dan Penempatan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Bappeda Litbang

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pelatihan dan penempatan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan disiplin kerja sebagai variabel moderating pada Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah, Penelitian dan Pengembangan Kabupaten Banyuasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode sensus, yang melibatkan seluruh pegawai Bappeda Litbang Kabupaten Banyuasin sebanyak 77 orang sebagai responden. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan penempatan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Disiplin kerja juga terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Namun demikian, hasil pengujian efek moderasi menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja tidak berperan dalam memoderasi pengaruh pelatihan dan penempatan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan kinerja pegawai lebih dipengaruhi oleh pengaruh langsung pelatihan, penempatan kerja, dan disiplin kerja itu sendiri, tanpa adanya peran disiplin kerja sebagai variabel pemoderasi dalam hubungan antarvariabel tersebut.
